What is a Brand Photographer?

Well, if a photographer is a person with a camera, and a brand is like Nike, then a brand photographer is the person capturing LeBron's jump shot WITH the Nikes! Ok that might be an overly simplified example, but you get the idea! Brand photographers help businesses small and large capture imagery to promote and market a product or service.

But here's the thing, Nike isn't the only company trying to sell things these days. Personal brands and online entrepreneurs have EXPLODED over the past few years thanks to social media and the internet. And in our increasingly visual world, businesses are in need of images and content that help them SHOW their potential customers (and the world!) what they have to offer.

When I entered the photography world as a family photographer, I loved capturing all of the sweet little moments. The giggles, the gummy baby smiles, the forehead kisses - it made (and still makes!) my heart sing. I used photography to turn those ordinary moments into images that told a story meant to last longer than a lifetime. I dream of heirloom portraits that hang in a granddaughter's home and remind everyone who walks by about the love that has been passed down through generations.

Then, as I built my own business, I recognized that families weren't the only ones with stories to tell through photography. I developed a passion for capturing images for small businesses with PURPOSE. I help my brands plan and produce imagery that delivers a highly targeted messages to their ideal clients. When you help small businesses, you can truly change lives, and knowing this brings me one of the greatest joys I have ever felt. I know this is true because I AM a small business. I know what each and every client opportunity means for me and my family, and I love being able to be a part of that same opportunity for other businesses. As a small business owner, it's so easy to feel like you're the only one dreaming and planning and setting goals for your business, but here's the thing: you are not alone in the process. I want to be by your side cheering you on every step of the way and helping you figure out how exactly you are going to get to that next level you dream of.

I recognize that not every business knows how exactly to create the imagery that can deliver an impactful message to your ideal client. I don't expect you to! I just need you to bring your incredible product or service, your heart and passion for your business, and a vision for who you can serve best.
