The Samuelson Family - West University Family Holiday Photos

Happy Holidays from the Samuelson Family!Do you ever meet those people that just make you feel like you've been friends forever?  I honestly had to do a double take (and a little post-session Facebooking) to make sure we didn't ACTUALLY already know each other.  These proud parents were just the SWEETEST and most welcoming family, and they were so excited to show off their little 9 month old!Can you blame them?  Look at those big brown eyes!  I just wish I could see her first Christmas through her eyes.  Actually - that has to be one of my favorite parts of motherhood - getting to experience so many firsts all over again, but this time, through the eyes of my daughters.Every time I get to meet a family like the Samuelsons, I'm reminded WHY I do this work.  This will always be their one and only very first Christmas with their little baby girl.  No do-overs, no freezing time, nada.  What feels picture perfect (and even what doesn't!) will all become part of the memory of Baby's First Christmas.I can tell that the Samuelsons are intentional in all that they do, so I know this idea is not lost on them.  I'm just feeling lucky that they chose me to capture it all, so they have images to look back on and remember this special time!
