Gonzalez Family - Houston Family Photos

Meet the Gonzalez family!  These cuties braved the VERY cold weather (don't let the short-sleeved six-year-olds fool you.  They insisted they weren't cold, but I have some teeth chattering outtakes that would suggest otherwise.  Pick your battles.) to capture photos of three generations before grandma and grandpa flew back home to Venezuela. This family photo session was one for the books because y'all.  Can we talk about six-year-old boys for a second? These besties for life were just TOO MUCH haha!  They were SO excited about everything - the camera, the photos, grandma and grandpa, the dog, silly faces, the playground across the street, the cars driving by - EVERYTHING.What a gift - to be excited by so much and so little at the same time.  It was truly a joy to watch them be themselves in front of the camera (with very minimal coaxing from this gal ha!) and to capture their relationship.I think it's pretty clear where the playful side comes from too!  Uncle and Grandpa!  Not pictured: the muddy knees after a well-intentioned if slightly over-excited jumping photo. But they were still all smiles and hugs for mama.  They even started giving me Spanish lessons mid-session!  I learned that their favorite word in Spanish is "chocolate" - duh - and that everyone needs to know Spanish so they can communicate with lots of people.  Pretty perceptive for a six year old, don't you think?Gonzalez family, thank you so much for letting me into your lives to capture the joy and love you share that extends over languages, borders, and generations!
